Michael Scott MacConnell, 75, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Coral Gables, Florida on March 18, 1949, to the late John Richard and Jeanne (Pratt) (MacConnell) Hill. He is also preceded in death by his brother, John M. MacConnell and stepfather, R. Herbert Hill.On March 20, 1970, he married Theresa (O’Donnell) MacConnell, and she survives in Bellefontaine.He is also survived by his son, Scott (Angie) MacConnell of Sidney, Ohio; grandson, Andrew (Christy) MacConnell of Bellefontaine, Ohio; great grandchildren: Audrey and Drake MacConnell; and siblings: Robert MacConnell of Grove City, Ohio, Douglas MacConnell of Columbus, Ohio and Patricia Milam of Lakeland, Florida.Michael was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
